2005-06 CL qualification: Dynamo Kyiv - FC Thun pin (2)

Match day pin of the game Dynamo Kyiv - FC Thun. FC Thun finished season 2004/05 on second place and therefore was qualified for the UEFA Champions League 2005/06. Starting in the second qualifying round, they were drawn against ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv. On 26 July 2005 FC Thun drew 2:2 with Dynamo Kyiv (away). On 3 August the club hosted Dynamo Kyiv at their "home" venue, the Stade de Suisse in Bern (actually the home of bitter rival BSC Young Boys), where all European home matches of FC Thun were held, as the old Lachen Stadium did not meet UEFA's prerequisites for Champions League venues. Tiago Bernardi's overtime winner led to Thuns 1-0 victory and therefore FC Thun was qualified for the 3rd round.
