Inofficial scarf from the Champions League season 2005/06, group stage / group B. Founded in 1898, FC Thun played in lower leagues for decades. 2004/05 was only FC Thun's fourth season in Switzerlands top league. The club surprisingly finished the season on second place and therefore was qualified for the UEFA Champions League. Starting in the second qualifying round, they won against ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv, and then defeated Malmö FF in 3rd round (they won away with 1:0 and at home with 3:0). So FC Thun was qualified for the group stage of the Champions League, where they were drawn against Arsenal London, Ajax Amsterdam and Sparta Prague. This is one of several inofficial scarves with the logos of each team of group B.
